Project Overview

Countries around the world are embracing the challenges of space exploration. In recent years, various nations have successively introduced plans for lunar exploration, and research facilities are expected to beestablished in the near future.

This project summarizes the requirements of research bases to form modular individual buildings, and establishes architectural generation rules based on the functional workflows of typical research buildings. Ultimately, the final design is produced through a wave function collapse algorithm.

Unit Design

All spaces can be understood as places for living / research functions, such as residential units, public space units, gardens, laboratories and coridors, connecting each unit forms clusters that can exist independently. The relationship between units and dusters is seen as a field that allows for a transition between private and public spaces. What should be reminded is that, for "Unit Air Locker", only one side can be connected becouse it s the unit that connect inside and outside. If one side connects with other units, the other side shall connect the outer environment of the Moon.
